First and foremost, we will have a consultation to determine if nutritional supplements should be a part of your wellness plan. We talk about your goals and your health history, including medications, and then decide on a plan that will best achieve your health and wellness goals. Once we make dietary supplements in Overland Park a part of your plan, we’ll then provide you with our in-house supplements.

You’ll take the supplements as directed by your health and wellness team while also undergoing any treatments you and your team decide are needed. Your provider will make regular check-ins with you to see how you are doing on supplements and adjust them as needed.

Your provider may speak with you about continuing nutritional supplements after results have shown to be positive, or they might speak with you about using the MaxLife Body Health Guide to replace the missing nutrients in a more natural way than supplements, depending on what you prefer. Either way, our team will focus on making sure you can maintain your health benefits by finding a way you can continue to get those necessary vitamins.

Yes, it is very much a possibility. Having too much of a supplement, like vitamins A, D, E, and K, can cause health problems. They are fat-soluble, meaning they can be stored in the body. If too much is stored, then they can become toxic. That’s why we have a consultation and a body composition analysis—to ensure we are providing you only the supplements you need.
Yes. Supplements like iron and calcium, copper and zinc, iron and zinc, etc. should not be taken together. Our health and wellness team is trained on what supplements should not go together, so you won’t have any supplements that could block proper absorption or cause illness.
Depending on any medications you take or your pre-existing nutrient levels, there could be side effects. That’s why we have a consultation and a body composition analysis—so we are fully educated on your full spectrum of health before making any decisions that could be dangerous.
